How Scrip Makes Fundraising Easy
Scrip makes fundraising easy for our parish! When families place orders for scrip, they pay the full face value for gift cards. For example, if a parishioner orders a $100 gift card for Home Depot, they pay you $100 and receive the full value of the card.
However, when your organization places an order with us, you pay less than the full face value for the cards, typically ranging from 2% to 13% less, depending on the retailer. For instance, Home Depot offers a 4% rebate, which means your organization pays only $96 for a $100 gift card. So, what happens to that $4 difference? It’s awarded to your program as a rebate—essentially free money for our church!
There are SCRIP cards available for various purchases, including gas, groceries, restaurants, home improvement, clothing, and entertainment. This is truly free money for the parish!
